SITE MAP
1.
For this project sprint, I focused on the website's
Primary, Secondary, and Utility Navigation

Legend:

Utilities
Primary

Duplicate
Secondary
There were a lot of duplicate categories-- some that were titled the same, but directed users to different pages.
2.
HEuRISTIC EVALUATION
Thoroughly testing the website and identifying usability problems up front and personal, with actionable recommendations to improve usability.

3.
OPEN CARD SORT
I gave 5 users a deck of 52 index cards and had them organize it as they please. Then, they wrote their own categories to summarize each group.

It was amazing to see some unique categories, and also great to see similar categories!
4.
USER FLOW
Sam is a busy person in NY and wants to take a quick weekend trip. She enjoys modern art and museums.
Task: Find more information about a museum based on Sam's interest

5.
CLOSED CARD SORT
I gave 5 different users 7 categories to organize their 52 index cards under. I also gave them an option to create their own group if they needed to.

4/5 users identified the proper category each index card should go.
1 user made her own "Outliers" pile for "Holidays" and "Seasons"
